In this role, you will be responsible for Engineering associated with the manufacturing process, defining methods for assembly and testing activities and driving improvements in safety, quality and productivity.

As a Flow Assembly & Testing Cell Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing Manufacturing Engineer activities in Flow Assembly & Testing Cell, developing and supporting Shop Routings & Procedures for the assembly & testing operations of Gas Turbines and/or Reciprocating Compressors.
  • Acting with continuous improvement attitude, evaluating Manufacturing Process and driving strategic projects to improve processes’ safety, quality, capabilities, fulfillment and productivity.
  • Tools designing and capability analysis, Instruction Sheets, Equipment Improvement and Shop Fixture design
  • Technical guidance and problem-solving support to manufacturing production in the shopfloor
  • Working with Manufacturing Engineers in other Baker Hughes organizations/sites to leverage technology and best practices promote innovation
  • Working on NCR Resolution, proposing technical support to other functions
  • Supporting and integrating digital transformation and smart factory paradigm

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and good experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and/or previous experience on gas turbines products is an added advantage.
  • Having knowledge about manufacturing process for assembly & testing of gas turbines and/or reciprocating compressors.
  • Have experience in tooling & workstation design.
  • Be familiar with lean manufacturing principles
  • Be able to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
  • Display strong team building skills, with ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Be able to create a real and positive change in team environment
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills, be fluent in English and Italian.
