Social Media and PR Manager (Freelance, Monthly Retainer)

Location: Milan, Italy (hybrid)

Contract: Freelance, monthly retainer (4-5 days/week)

Start: early December 2025

Duration: Initial 6-month contract, strong extension potential

Role Overview

We’re looking for an inspiring, culture-literate Social Media and PR Manager who lives and breathes high-end fashion storytelling. You’ll own channel strategy and execution across IG/TikTok/Pinterest/YouTube, lead content calendars, run influencer seeding, manage KOLS & Talents, and partner on performance. You’re independent, tasteful, and fast able to translate MIMIR’s DNA into standout, scalable content. You're a social media wizard that is following social media trends, able to identify key profiles, emerging brands, tracking competitors and formulate strong social media strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and run a rolling content calendar tied to seasonal campaigns, drops, editorials, press, and events.
  • Craft on-brand copy (captions, hooks, story scripts, video text), always consistent with MIMIR’s tov.
  • Support on content creation and campaigns gathering shotlists, locations, talent pulls etc., and agree and manage creators' content.
  • Publish and optimize across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube and maintain asset libraries.

Growth & Performance

  • Collaborate with our digital marketing manager on Meta & Google campaign inputs (angles, hooks, creatives).
  • Build reports (weekly snapshot + campaign reports and monthly deep-dive) on all social media metrics and present internally.
  • Support Klaviyo (subject lines, content blocks, cadence alignment) and basic on-page SEO hygiene.
  • Influencer / Community / PR and Media
  • Run targeted seeding (build a list of creators, outreach, follow-ups, tracking, repost rights etc.)
  • Collaborate with media partners with press release during seasonal drops
  • Identify and execute events during key moments, involving talents, PR and media outlets
  • Coordinate with stylists and press pulls; maintain creator/press CRM with notes and deliverables.
  • Support press previews, pop-ups, and campaign moments with content capture and live coverage.
  • Community management experience.

Must-Haves

  • 3–6 years in luxury / designer fashion social (brand or agency), with a strong aesthetic POV.
  • strong knowledge of the luxury menswear market, understanding of the competitors' landscape, and a stay-on-trend mindset.
  • Proven channel ownership for IG/TikTok (show accounts you’ve grown and how).
  • Confident writing voice; you can switch between editorial, campaign, and product tones.
