Overview

Location: based in either Milan or Madrid, or in the nearby area, on a hybrid working schedule (3 days per week in the office + 2 days per week working from home).

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and strategic Watchman Product Manager to join our New Cardio (NC) franchise team. This role is 100% dedicated to the WATCHMAN franchise. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams to drive growth, execute tactical marketing initiatives, and shape the future of complex cardiac solutions in a fast-paced and innovative environment, with focus on the EMEA Southern Cluster (Italy, Spain and Portugal).

Responsibilities

  • Launch Readiness and Product Lifecycle Management: define product launch roadmaps of WATCHMAN FLX Pro and WATCHMAN Trusteer Access System in coordination with international marketing and sales leaders. Coordinate development of launch packages, promotional assets, and go-to-market strategies. Ensure continuous alignment with product lifecycle requirements and support adaptation strategies based on local market dynamics.
  • Market Development: You will drive continued market expansion of the Watchman franchise within the electrophysiology space, leveraging clinical trial data and insights from the OPTION study. This includes leading direct to patient and direct to referral initiatives, while working closely with cross-functional teams such as HEMA, HS&P, sales and clinical to ensure aligned strategies that optimize adoption and patient access.
  • Develop and Execute Marketing Campaigns: create and roll out tactical marketing plans in close collaboration with the franchise teams, ensuring alignment with divisional objectives. Define and deploy promotional campaigns and sales tools to support product positioning and maximize reach and impact within targeted markets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Sales Enablement: partner with sales teams and clinical specialists in the field to ensure flawless execution of marketing programs. Regularly accompany sales representatives on customer visits to gather insights, assess program effectiveness, and support sales activities with targeted messaging and educational materials.
  • Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis: conduct in-depth competitive assessments and market analysis to inform business strategy. Support pricing, positioning, and targeting decisions based on strong analytical insights. Develop and refine messaging to clearly differentiate Boston Scientific’s offering.
  • KOL & Stakeholder Relationship Building: cultivate and manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the field. Engage with physicians and stakeholders to gather feedback, validate marketing initiatives, and drive advocacy for new and existing therapies.
  • Financial and Performance Tracking: monitor and analyze the financial performance of assigned product portfolios, including revenue trends, profit margins, ROI, and budget adherence. Collaborate with commercial excellence and sales teams to identify gaps, propose corrective actions, and ensure delivery of revenue and profitability targets.
  • Champion Quality and Regulatory Excellence: act as a point of contact for the sales team and external customers regarding quality and regulatory matters. Ensure compliance with Boston Scientific’s internal procedures and external requirements. Facilitate the timely identification, escalation, and resolution of product or process-related issues.

What We Are Looking for in You

  • At least 4 years of experience in cardiology (LAAC preferrable), in either a technical or marketing capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a Technical field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in product and project management, particularly in MedTech or similar industries.
  • Strong analytical skills and a creative mindset—able to think outside the box and solve complex challenges.
  • Motivated team player and self-starter with strong collaboration and communication abilities.
  • Native Italian or Spanish; fluent in English.
  • Solid understanding of business and technical concepts, industry practices, and commercial strategies.
