Sell Out Area Manager

Findus is a multinational company leader in the European Frozen Foods market and it is looking for a Sell Out Area Manager in the Central-Southern Italy region.

The Area Manager, within the Sell out team, will be accountable for executing the commercial strategy in the assigned territory to achieve sell-out targets. This role ensures the effective implementation of promotional plans, assortment strategies, shelf optimization, and in-store activities, in alignment with the Category and Annual Business Plans. The manager collaborates cross-functionally and manages a dedicated budget to drive in-store performance and visibility.

Activities & Responsibilities

• Sell-Out Execution: Ensure flawless execution of sell-out activities including promotions, assortment compliance, shelf presence, and in-store activations. Drive performance to meet or exceed assigned sell-out targets in the region. Manage and optimize the in-store investment budget, ensuring ROI and alignment with strategic priorities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Trade Marketing, Key Account, and Category Management teams to align on national strategies and tailor them to local market needs.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and maintain systematic tools for tracking performance, identifying gaps, and proposing corrective actions. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats in the territory.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate and mentor In store accounts (external agency) to ensure high-quality execution of in-store activities.
• University degree - Business Administration degree is preferred
• Experience in a “sell out sales” / “sales accounting” role (preference for FMCG provenience)
• Business Management skills (P&L, Category Management, Negotiation, People Management)
• Fluent in spoken Italian and English
• Mobility within Italy is required – accountability area: Central-South Italy
