About the Role

At Innodata, we collaborate with leading technology companies to develop next-generation generative AI and large language models (LLMs). We are seeking smart, detail-oriented, and curious Language Specialists with native-level fluency in Italian to help shape AI’s understanding and use of language.

This is a unique opportunity for writers, editors, and linguists to contribute to AI innovation. You will play a key role in teaching LLMs to think, reason, and communicate with greater fluency and human-like nuance.

Job Title: Language Specialist – LLM Programs (Full-time)

Language Requirement: Native-level fluency in Italian

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating training data sets for AI models to enhance their accuracy, fluency, coherence, and voice
• Annotating data to align AI models with human values
• Analyzing and improving grammar, syntax, and sentence structure of training data and AI-generated text to ensure linguistic accuracy
• Collaborating with data scientists, researchers, and software engineers to refine data sets
• Contributing to evolving AI training specifications and data recipes
• Adapting to a dynamic environment with shifting guidelines and priorities

Requirements:

• Native-level fluency in Italian and strong proficiency in English
• Excellent writing, editing, and linguistic analysis skills
• Deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and stylistic nuances
• Research skills and effective fact-checking abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet daily deadlines
