Join our Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing technologies within our global warehouse and delivery network.

Purpose of the Job:

We seek motivated, customer-focused Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technicians to ensure safety compliance, conduct preventative maintenance, and maximize equipment availability through continuous improvement.

Shift Pattern: This role involves non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Model and monitor health & safety best practices.
  • Demonstrate SME knowledge of MHE (Material Handling Equipment).
  • Coach and mentor technicians.
  • Ensure high equipment availability via troubleshooting and prioritization.
  • Support system improvements across the EU network.
  • Maintain good organizational relationships.
  • Understand OEE and equipment performance metrics.
  • Manage contractors and escalations.
  • Perform engineering tasks across levels 1-4, with responsibility for reactive and planned tasks at levels 1-3, and specialist tasks at level 4.
  • Manage critical spare parts inventory using EAM system.
  • Coordinate and execute preventative maintenance for MHE equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Full engineering apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines with experience in automation and MHE environments.
  • Solid knowledge of PLC-based control systems.
  • Experience with CMMS for maintenance planning and recording.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance.
  • Proficient in English and local language (CEFR Level B2+).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational qualifications such as HNC, HND, BSc, BEng.
  • Proven supervisory and influencing skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
  • Experience managing multiple contractors and working across multiple sites.
