We are looking for an experienced Import / Export Specialist Senior to join our team in Val della Torre (TO). The selected candidate will play a key role in driving the growth of our business, ensuring full compliance with regulations related to shipping, customs, and the resolution of issues within this strategic business area.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee export and import operations , ensuring full compliance with international trade regulations.
- Manage the correct classification of customs codes and guarantee the accuracy of all required documentation.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement efficient logistics processes , contributing to the development of internal procedures.
- Track and analyze logistics costs , recommending solutions to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Keep up to date with industry regulations and actively promote adherence to company policies and procedures .
Requirements
We are looking for candidate with the following skills / experience :
- University degree in Engineering, Economics, Law or similar
- Training Incoterms® ICC – for the application of sales rules
- Minimum of five years’ experience in logistics, ideally within multinational companies or in organizations involved in goods export, including consultancy.
- In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, harmonized codes, preferential and non-preferential origin, and related customs matters.
- Strong professional network within the logistics and customs sector, enabling timely assessment and knowledge sharing when new challenges arise.
- Proven ability to plan and coordinate both domestic and international shipments.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (preferably Microsoft 365) and shipping management software
