  • Collaborate with business units to forecast sourcing needs and support project delivery timelines.
  • Apply a Total Cost of Ownership framework to evaluate supply opportunities and maximise project returns.
  • Manage global supplier relationships, fostering long‑term strategic partnerships.
  • Act as the key interface between technical, engineering, project, operations and finance teams to align sourcing decisions with business objectives.
  • Promote innovation and collaboration with suppliers to enhance competitiveness, quality, operations, reliability and sustainability.
  • Communicate sourcing strategies, risks and opportunities to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Support global procurement initiatives and corporate sourcing objectives, ensuring consistency with enterprise‑wide supply chain strategies.
  • Lead negotiation of complex commercial terms and Master Supply Agreements (MSAs) or Long‑Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) where applicable.
  • Collaborate with legal, technical and project management teams to structure risk‑balanced, bankable agreements.
  • Maintain strong understanding of module and racking technologies and market trends to inform strategies.
  • Provide technical inputs for feasibility and design optimisation through cost modelling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Legal or related field (Master’s degree and Engineering preferred).
  • 8–12 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement of renewable energy infrastructure equipment, with emphasis on modules and racking systems.
  • Proven experience in international strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, innovation partnerships and contract execution.
  • Track record of negotiating complex commercial contracts and managing MSAs.
  • Strong knowledge of technical, operational, market and financial drivers for utility‑scale and standalone storage projects.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and capable of working independently across time zones.
  • High analytical capability, commercial judgment and comfort managing ambiguity in evolving markets.
  • Excellent relationship management, influencing and communication skills across executive and stakeholder levels.
  • Availability to travel to supplier sites or project locations as needed.
  • Knowledgeable of U.S. safe harbour, tariffs, FEOC/material assistance, UFLPA and tax equity financing requirements.
