POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Partner, Finance provides support and manages resources across different regions. This includes, but is not limited to, financial reporting and control, income management, debt management, submitting invoices for payment for Accounts Payable, and accurately billing clients for services rendered. This Partner is also responsible for overseeing the functions performed by the Accounting Assistant, Financial Analysts, and other assigned financial staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Business Partner Finance helps Operational leadership make financial decisions by supporting the following activities:
  • Developing financial strategies: Analyze revenue, expenses, investments, and risks to create a financial strategy, perform analytical reviews of financial information to identify trends/opportunities, and recommend improvements to drive cost efficiencies in balance with operational needs and capabilities.
  • Work with Operations team to develop Budgets and Forecasts for financial performance.
  • Create forecasts using historical data; report actual results and analysis vs. plan; assist operations regarding cost budgets, quarterly forecasts, and other financial planning activities.
  • Prepare reports: Explain financial recommendations to senior management; contribute to accurate and timely internal financial reporting and analysis; publish periodic financial reports to provide visibility to financial results.
  • Set financial goals and create a roadmap to achieve them; participate in special projects including process improvement and financial tools development and implementation; manage financial process improvements and KPIs; support internal and external audits.
  • Manage resources: Plan, organize, and manage workload to contribute to monthly financial reporting; ensure swift payment of invoices; collect and confirm accuracy of charges/expenses; manage Accounts Payable and vendor invoices; support month-end close, cost centers, and ad hoc analysis; prepare month-end journal entries focused on cost accruals; complete the monthly Client Profitability Model; attend meetings and document minutes; manage confidential information securely; disseminate communications and reports; assist with presentations; communicate effectively with employees, customers, suppliers, and others on behalf of site management.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize assets and investments; produce cost quotes, business cases, risk assessments, and other ad-hoc analyses; coordinate with vendors for competitive pricing.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for performance management of Accounting Assistant and Financial Analysts and other assigned financial staff members.
  • Ensures training and development of team members.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Education & Experience:
    A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance; minimum 5 years of accounting, FP&A, or finance experience; minimum 3 years supervising direct reports.
  • Computer Skills:
    Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP).
  • Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal).
  • Mathematical Skills:
    Strong math skills with focus on financial and accounting applications.
  • Other Skills:
    Ability to partner with associates at all levels; strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills; initiative-taking with analytical skills and leadership; ability to work in a dynamic environment, think creatively, implement process improvements, work independently, and manage multiple tasks; train staff at all levels in different regions.

Travel Requirements

This role requires 25% travel within the US.
