Responsibilities

  • Develop, drive, and continuously evolve global market strategies in the technical field of Anodizing
  • Conduct market analysis to fully understand short- and long-term market dynamics, trends, and needs
  • Actively participate in key industry events (e.g., fairs, trade shows) and leading associations
  • Monitor relevant legislative and regulatory developments and changes globally
  • Identify new customers, customer segments, or opportunities with existing customers and future prospects
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with key customers to win and retain them long-term
  • Support affiliates in managing complex programs and projects with multinational and global customers (e.g., approval of new technologies, relocation of transplants, global pricing agreements, global contracts, technology transfers)
  • Broaden the scope of technical solutions and the product portfolio by expanding into new geographical areas or entering new industries

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a B2B chemical specialties environment
  • Proven sales experience with a strong track record and success stories
  • Background in market strategy or business development, ideally with experience in social selling, lead generation, and lead managementIn-depth knowledge and experience in Anodizing
  • Outgoing personality with excellent communication and networking skills; comfortable presenting to senior management
  • Customer-oriented and empathetic mindset; self-motivated and able to work independently with a strong goal orientation
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to two to three days per week
  • Fluent in English; a second language is an advantage
