Technical Buyer
Position Mission
The Buyer actively supports the Purchasing team in procuring a wide range of commodities, materials (including custom ones), services, and equipment for the company. This involves managing needs expressed via RDA in the MRP system, requesting and negotiating offers, issuing purchase orders, and securing order confirmations upon receipt.
Responsibilities
- Supplier selection
- Market scouting through technical specifications and distributor analysis
- Quotes analysis
- Consolidation and development of the supplier panel
- Issuing purchase orders in the system
- Monitoring supplier quality performance
- Coordination with the logistics planner
- Maintaining continuous communication with suppliers
- Document filing, control, and maintenance
- Participating in daily, weekly, and monthly department meetings
- Ensuring compliance with quality and environmental standards, procedures, and instructions
Technical Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Fluent in English
