The Credit Specialist Export manages credit policies and credit conditions at the Group level in coordination with the Group Credit Manager. This role oversees the full credit management process for a designated group of export customers, providing technical and administrative support, monitoring customer payments, and coordinating activities related to booking payments, documentary credits, public tenders, and projects. It interfaces with internal partners (orders back office, shipping, sales managers) and external partners (credit insurance, banks, etc.).

ABOUT YOUR TASKS

  • Manage credit in accordance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures;
  • Follow up on Group initiatives and support sales entities in coordination with the Group Credit Manager;
  • Assess new customers for compliance with credit policies and update existing customer credit limits;
  • Coordinate sales-related activities with the sales organization;
  • Perform performance assessments in various areas;
  • Monitor the customer portfolio, classify defaults, evaluate critical positions, and implement recovery activities;
  • Analyze business information and credit insurance;
  • Maintain communication with customers and internal teams, solicit payments, and arrange repayment plans;
  • Manage customer orders that exceed credit limits or involve insolvencies;
  • Coordinate legal actions with the legal department or external counsel, including documentation;
  • Issue invoices and credit notes, and verify the closure of transactions and analyze related data.

ABOUT YOU

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics;
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in administration or commercial roles;
  • Experience working in an international organization;
  • Knowledge of accounting, contractual, statutory, and VAT regulations;
  • Proficiency in IT systems (preferably JDE);
  • Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to diverse audiences;
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail;
  • Willingness to travel and open to international mobility;
  • Fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus;
  • Proactive, strategic, innovative, and curious;
  • Effective communicator, stakeholder engager, negotiator, and team player;
  • Ambitious, decisive, results-driven, with leadership capabilities in a global environment.
