Production Shift Leader

Production Shift Leader (Marcianise Plant)

Directly reporting to the Production Area Manager, responsible for executing shift and line production plans, ensuring product quality, optimal cost, and compliance with health and safety regulations according to law and HSE policies.

Responsibilities

• Organize work allocation on the line to ensure optimal production plan execution.
• Coordinate shift activities to guarantee regular preventive maintenance of lines, systems, and machines.
• Ensure food safety requirements for finished goods production.
• Enforce health and safety requirements in line with Legislative Decree no. 81/10, HSE policies, guidelines, and internal procedures.
• Lead problem‑solving sessions with team members and key stakeholders.
• Maintain production plan execution within the shift (performance to schedule).
• Deliver shift/team KPIs (SLE, Yields, GMP, etc.).
• Prepare shift reports on time and according to agreed requirements.
• Develop the skill set of team members for effective job performance.
• Clarify team responsibilities and objectives.
• Recognize good performance and address poor performance promptly.
• Support continuous process improvements and update tools for operator suggestions and ideas.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Management Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant production experience.
• Previous team management experience (preferred).
• Understanding of food and beverage technology.
• Good knowledge of maintenance procedures.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing policies and procedures.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and nights.
• Ability to set clear standards for performance and act as a positive leader.
• Teamwork skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to experiment with new ideas.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.
