We’re looking for motivated Field Service Engineers to join top international manufacturers in the Netherlands. You’ll perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on advanced packaging and automation systems used worldwide in logistics, e‑commerce, and food production industries.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Install, commission, and test automation and packaging machines at customer sites
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (on‑site & remote)
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC‑related issues
- Train local operators and provide technical support
- Handle service reports, documentation, and spare parts management
- Travel internationally (up to 80% overnight travel)
🎓 What We’re Looking For
- Degree or diploma (EQF 4–8) in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
- Experience in industrial machinery, packaging, or automation
- Understanding of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, etc.)
- Strong mechanical and / or electrical troubleshooting skills
- Customer‑focused, self‑reliant, and adaptable to travel
- Good communication in English (Dutch or German is a plus)
- EU citizenship required for work & travel flexibility
💶 What’s On Offer
- Salary : €33,000 – €57,000 gross / year (depending on experience)
- Travel time paid + hotel costs covered
- Holiday allowance : 8.33% of annual salary
- 25 holidays + 7 public holidays
- Paid pension : no employee contribution for up to 1.5 years
- Travel allowance : €0.19 / km (after first 10 km)
- Full relocation support : housing, registration & onboarding assistance
