Purpose of the position

The Importer Service Development Manager is responsible for leading, directing, managing and developing sales of spare parts and accessories within importers in certain countries across the EMEA region to meet HIAB’s business objectives, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop new and existing markets. The role is open to Europe.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Grow spare part capture rate in the indirect sales network, focusing on key accounts; develop and review commercial routes to market and make necessary adjustments.
  • Achieve the global HiPerform attachment rate.
  • Manage performance with major dealers and key accounts, collaborating with local direct or indirect organizations to foster growth.
  • Monitor and optimize the service delivery network for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop tools and dashboards for decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Train and communicate to increase awareness of installed base data and parts sales opportunities within the organization.
  • Leverage digital channels such as e-commerce and connectivity for parts sales; develop and nurture existing channels.
  • Support the development of customer value propositions for Hiab's HiPerform portfolio for importers.
  • Penetrate new key accounts or segments by leveraging existing networks or establishing new ones.
  • Support dealer conferences and training events.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Master’s degree in business or equivalent preferred.
  • Several years of experience in service roles (commercial and/or operations) in related industries.
  • Proficiency in managing relationships with key clients, understanding needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Ability to identify upselling opportunities, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strategic thinking and long-term planning abilities.
  • Experience in managing distribution channels and optimizing their performance.
  • Strong analytical skills and customer orientation.
  • Experience working in an international corporate environment.
  • Experience in developing and executing business strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Proactive, self-driven work approach.
  • Good financial understanding for profitable growth.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
