🔬 Exceptional Research Opportunity: Postdoctoral Position in Structural Biology – 2years 🧬

Do you have a background in molecular/cell biology or biochemistry?

Don’t miss the chance to apply for a Post Doc position (2 years, starting date March 2026) supported by the ERC Advanced Grant project “LPS-code” awarded by Prof. A. Molinaro. The research will be conducted at the Department of Chemical Sciences, University of Napoli Federico II (Italy).

Requirements

• PhD in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology or equivalent
• Experience in DNA cloning techniques, recombinant protein production and purification of membrane proteins

Your Role: Key Research Activities

• Expression and purification of proteins;
• Production of site‑specific mutants and isotopically labelled proteins;
• Spectroscopic and biophysical characterization of proteins;
• Use of NMR methods and computational techniques to investigate the binding region of glycans in the interaction with different proteins.

You will work closely with other research scientists within the group. Therefore, you should be highly motivated, organised, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills as part of a team.
