MECHANICAL DESIGNER

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN role at SIMIC

We are looking for mechanical maintenance technicians capable of performing mechanical maintenance on industrial plants: production lines, process machinery, rotating components, transmissions, pumps, valves, etc.

The candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical plants and lines, will manage scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, will diagnose mechanical faults, identify corrective solutions and collaborate with other technical departments (electrical, automation, safety).

They will use electronic devices, software and digital tools to support operational activities.

They will be able to ensure the correct use of PPE and compliance with international safety procedures and mobile equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts).

Requirements

• Willingness to travel outside Italy, even for medium to long periods.
• Technical-industrial high school diploma.
• Previous experience in the maintenance and installation of industrial plants.
• Experience in the use of CMMS systems and scheduled maintenance management is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of the main industrial mechanical equipment.
• Ability to use hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Ability to perform work with high precision and attention to quality.
• Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• English level B2 – for technical interaction with international contacts
• French level A1 – preferred
• Mechanical Maintenance Technician for overseas construction site
