Senior Consultant - Supply Chain PLM Desing Developer

Overview

Senior Consultant – Supply Chain PLM Design Developer in Rome. The role supports analysis, optimization, and implementation of business processes related to R&D and Operations within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team. You will work closely with interdisciplinary groups to integrate digital systems and manage product data along the lifecycle.

What you will do

• Contribute to estimation, design, and development of evolutions and integrations on platforms integrated with 3DX.
• Develop services/APIs (REST), workflow logic, validations, and interfaces (front-end).
• Ensure code quality, automated tests, performance, and security (OAuth2/OIDC).
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, branching, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with analysts/architects on data model, traceability, and compliance.
• Design and develop custom components and integrations on the 3DX platform.
• Design application architectures and define technical blueprints for scalable and secure PLM solutions.
• Implement complex workflows, business rules, and automations.
• Collaborate with Solution Architect and project teams to develop, test, and release.

Who we are looking for

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering.
• Experience: 5 years in developing enterprise solutions (PLM-ERP-MES).
• Knowledge of the 3DX platform.
• Technical skills: Java/Spring Boot or .NET Core, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, Angular/React, Git, Docker; OpenAPI knowledge, and experience with message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ) preferred.
• Soft skills: ownership, problem solving, ability to estimate and communicate risks/impacts, excellent communication in Italian and English (B2/C1).

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure/AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Experience in infrastructural contexts.
• Knowledge of PLM/CDE/EPM and integration patterns with ERP.
