We’re seeking for an experienced Operations Supervisors/Process Assistant to join the team at our Fulfillment Center in Moorebank. The Process Assistant will support the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to your process path. We currently have multiple opportunities across day and night shift.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Support and work in all departments as required
• Help manage daily department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, and assigning job duties
• Provide coverage for Area Managers
• Provide policy follow-up and attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)
• Track and report ATS/labor hours
• Assist the floor as an associate resource, train associates, and verify SOP compliance
• Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance
• Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity
• Fully understand workflow and daily production goals
• Assist in keeping work area clean and organised
• Identify and address safety hazards within the work area
• Coach associates to work safely at all times
• Refer all job injuries immediately to area manager

Basic Qualifications

• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Previous experience leading teams
• Availability to work 38 hours+/week, and overtime as required
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members
• Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership experience directly managing others
• Experience working within a similar field (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail)
• Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement
