Real Estate Structured Finance Analyst / Associate - M / W

Commercial Real Estate Division (REL) is a business line of Global Banking (GLBA). REL is responsible for providing financing solutions for professional investors investing in office, logistics, retail, hotel, and other real estate (incl. multifamily, student accommodation, and nursing homes).

Tasks and responsibilities :

• Underwriting and structuring of commercial real estate structured finance transactions including leading the cashflow modelling.
• Assisting in the structuring and execution of real estate commercial mortgage loans, including participation in the drafting of written documents such as marketing pitches, termsheets, credit applications, and actively participating in marketing efforts.
• Collaborating with appropriate bank distribution forces to distribute commercial mortgage loans through the syndication market or alternative routes using debt capital market techniques or ad-hoc structures based on debt investors’ specific requirements.
• Monitoring of deals in the book.
• Maintaining close contact with the CRE market and developing a clear understanding of real estate asset management strategies.
• Interacting with clients under the supervision of Senior Front Officers during the execution phase of transactions.
• Ensuring full compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory obligations.
• Participating in the origination of Real Estate advisory mandates.
• Conducting risk analysis and understanding all issues relevant for each transaction (context, aim, constraints related to the assets and / or the legal and tax environment).
• Performing financial analysis and modelling of the considered projects.

Profile required

Studies & experience :

Bachelor / Master degree from a top-ranked business and / or engineering college.Any Commercial Real Estate specialization is welcomed.At least 2-4 years’ experience in Real Estate structured finance in banks, insurers, private equity funds, and / or property companies.

English : C2Italian and / or Spanish : B2

Technical, operational & Soft skills :

Professional command of MS Office.Understanding of the loan market, its dynamics, and the related instruments, including credit and rates derivatives to propose relevant financing solutions.Ability to generate pitch material that is clear, structured, compelling, and comprehensive in addressing clients’ needs.Responsibility, flexibility, and responsiveness.Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.Commercial acumen and persistence in addressing clients’ needs.Proactive approach to develop business adapted to clients’ and markets’ needs.Innovation and very good ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.Very good communication skills and team spirit.
