Construction Project Manager – Leading IPP (Solar PV & BESS) - Rome

Our client, a well‑funded and expanding Independent Power Producer (IPP) specialising in renewable energy, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the execution of large‑scale projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic company with a strong project pipeline and significant financial backing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end execution of RES plant construction projects from initiation to close‑out.
  • Manage contracts to optimise project cost, timeline, and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with national and EU HSE and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Finance to align on design, sourcing, and reporting.
  • Oversee smooth handover of completed assets to Operations & Maintenance and Asset Management.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years’ experience in construction project management, preferably in renewable energy.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent Italian & English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, results‑driven mindset with the ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
