Market Intelligence Manager – Lectra

Provide market, industry, competition and account intelligence supporting EMEA management team. Analysis ensures effective planning and execution. Contact customers and factories to conduct interviews and observe business processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Macro Economy Intelligence
    • Set up macro economy indicators and monitor trends; provide impact analysis monthly.
    • Track and collect macro economy news and analytical articles; share observations with management.
  • Market and Industry Intelligence
    • Align with corporate team to analyze local market trends and demands; link offerings for Industry 4.0.
    • Understand new market areas and evaluate growth potential.
    • Monitor market and industry movements; share insights with management.
  • Competitor Intelligence
    • Learn and share competitor knowledge; complete local information.
    • Collect, process, analyze local competitor intelligence using consistent format.
    • Monitor key competitors’ communication, wins, movements; evaluate capabilities and propose actions.
    • Drive cross‑function departments to perform competitive analysis and benchmarking.
  • Business Intelligence
    • Analyze customer install base by product mix, industry, and business type; provide direction for marketing planning.
    • Collaborate with Data Marketing to improve database accuracy; recommend segmentation and targeting.
    • Support sales and marketing teams with regular and ad‑hoc business analysis and data requests.
    • Update Salesforce account qualification database.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or Statistics (preferred).
  • At least 5 years in marketing intelligence, market research, strategic analysis, consumer research, competitive intelligence, business intelligence, or data analysis.
  • Proficiency in market and data analysis (statistics, databases).
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Proficient in advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce.
  • Exposure to EMEA market is a plus.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, independent worker.
  • Excellent project management skills (organization, time management, decision making).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure in a challenging work environment.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and cross‑functional skills.

Travel & Location

Based in Milan; 30% travel to customer sites and Lectra offices.
