Overview
Grupo Planeta is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join its team in Rome, Italy. The role combines full HR management with compliance to Italian labour regulations in an international environment.
Location: Rome, Italy (On-site)
Responsibilities
- Employee Relations & Legal Compliance
- Anticipate legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Maintain personnel files, GDPR consents, and mandatory postings.
- Advise leaders on disciplinary procedures, contracts, and working-time arrangements.
- Health, Safety & Well-being
- Monitor medical examinations and safety training.
- Promote employee well-being initiatives.
- Compensation & Payroll
- Liaise with external payroll providers to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL).
- Recruitment & Employer Branding
- Partner with managers to define hiring needs and manage recruitment cycles.
- Guarantee a consistent candidate experience aligned with Rome Business School and PFU standards.
- Onboarding
- Coordinate contracts, tax/social-security registration (INPS/INAIL).
- Deliver structured induction programmes and onboarding initiatives.
- Performance & Development
- Support goal-setting, performance reviews, and talent calibration.
- Coordinate training and development plans.
- Engagement & Offboarding
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse turnover.
- Manage severance (TFR) and Certificato Unico handover.

Requisitos
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years as HR Generalist or HRBP in Italy, with full employee life-cycle ownership.
- Legislative Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of Italian labour law.
- Familiarity with CCNL negotiations.
- Expertise in Categorie Protette (Law 68/1999).
- Languages: Fluent Italian (C2) and English (C1). Spanish is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Business acumen and ability to anticipate legal/employee-relations risks.
- Influencing and coaching skills to support and challenge leaders.
Highly Valued
- Experience managing immigration procedures (permits, work visas).
- Knowledge of compensation analytics or accounting basics.
- Previous experience in an international academic or service-sector environment.
