Overview

Grupo Planeta is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join its team in Rome, Italy. The role combines full HR management with compliance to Italian labour regulations in an international environment.

Location: Rome, Italy (On-site)

Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations & Legal Compliance
    • Anticipate legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
    • Maintain personnel files, GDPR consents, and mandatory postings.
    • Advise leaders on disciplinary procedures, contracts, and working-time arrangements.
  • Health, Safety & Well-being
    • Monitor medical examinations and safety training.
    • Promote employee well-being initiatives.
  • Compensation & Payroll
    • Liaise with external payroll providers to ensure data accuracy.
    • Ensure compliance with the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL).
  • Recruitment & Employer Branding
    • Partner with managers to define hiring needs and manage recruitment cycles.
    • Guarantee a consistent candidate experience aligned with Rome Business School and PFU standards.
  • Onboarding
    • Coordinate contracts, tax/social-security registration (INPS/INAIL).
    • Deliver structured induction programmes and onboarding initiatives.
  • Performance & Development
    • Support goal-setting, performance reviews, and talent calibration.
    • Coordinate training and development plans.
  • Engagement & Offboarding
    • Conduct exit interviews and analyse turnover.
    • Manage severance (TFR) and Certificato Unico handover.

Requisitos

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years as HR Generalist or HRBP in Italy, with full employee life-cycle ownership.
  • Legislative Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of Italian labour law.
    • Familiarity with CCNL negotiations.
    • Expertise in Categorie Protette (Law 68/1999).
  • Languages: Fluent Italian (C2) and English (C1). Spanish is a strong plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Business acumen and ability to anticipate legal/employee-relations risks.
    • Influencing and coaching skills to support and challenge leaders.

Highly Valued

  • Experience managing immigration procedures (permits, work visas).
  • Knowledge of compensation analytics or accounting basics.
  • Previous experience in an international academic or service-sector environment.
