We are looking for a talented attorney to support a strategic and rapidly growing transportation business in Europe. You will be a trusted advisor for the business teams you support, liaising directly with senior business and legal leaders, advising on regulatory compliance, deploying programs and products, negotiating strategic transactions, and handling commercial issues and pre‑litigation disputes.

You will be responsible for developing and executing legal strategies, building compliance guardrails and simplifying legal processes in creative, business‑centric ways.

A day in the life

  • Negotiate strategic transactions with established multinationals across Europe.
  • Develop and implement legal guardrails for new business launches.
  • Advise business leaders on strategies for handling regulatory compliance matters.
  • Handling commercial and pre‑litigation disputes.
  • Simplify and automate existing templates and processes.
  • Build new processes to allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in legal work.
  • Significant amount of post‑qualification legal experience.
  • High degree of independence, initiative and decisiveness but also desire to be challenged and think outside the box.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Great business judgment especially in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Excellent English drafting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in‑house work.
