The Role

In the fast-moving cryptocurrency industry, content is key to education and adoption. Bitfinex stands as one of the oldest crypto platforms in a highly innovative environment. As an institutional and professional exchange, the Content Marketing Manager must speak the language of sophisticated investors and write on topics, markets, new initiatives, and developments in a style that reflects the Bitfinex brand and the mindset of our customers.

We seek a sharp, engaged, and knowledgeable writer who can produce high-quality content to deadline and meet all content needs. The role requires awareness of crypto newsflow, ability to generate content ideas, and the production of well-sourced, editorial content that educates and informs. The candidate will also edit Bitfinex Alpha, our flagship research product, and contribute to the Bitfinex blog and educational initiatives with partners and listed projects on the exchange. The role includes promoting research and trading ideas in other forums and promoting Bitfinex exchange products as well as products of Bitfinex Securities.

The position suits someone who can absorb information, take direction, and execute while also communicating ideas and suggesting topics for new content.

Your Day-to-Day

• Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, sales, and customer retention.
• Collaborates across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain a brand publisher mindset to create content that audiences seek and optimize the path to conversion.
• Editorial requirements include SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement; develop editorial governance for brand voice, style, and tone.
• Develop and manage editorial calendar and organizational workflows.
• Manage digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email/newsletter distribution; understand main social channels and appropriate approaches.
• Measure and optimize program performance regularly.
• Manage creative resources including designers, writers, and external agency relations.
• Integrate content programs with brand campaigns to drive brand demand.
• Deliver executive presentations on program approaches and results.

What You Bring to the Table

• BA/BS or equivalent working experience
• Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
• Editorial mindset to understand audiences and how to create content they consume
• Ability to analyze and report on content and social performance
• Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, and top social channels
• Project management skills and ability to manage priorities among multiple stakeholders to deliver engagement, leads, and sales
