As Logistic Engineer you’ll be part of Logistics operational team in Varisco Product Company with the goal of correctly organizing and managing logistics projects with the aim of proposing and planning new solutions for continuous improvements.
Varisco Product Company is a well-established and ever-expanding company. It manufactures pumps, both for dewatering and industrial use. In Varisco was acquired by Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational company with years of history behind it.
Your main tasks are :
- Analyse and mapping logistics process to identify muda and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support Logistic Team with training and sharing knowledge about new implementations
- Collaborate with production to garantee the best flow and efficient material supply to production lines
- Cooperating and providing support to your team to solve any problems and to ensure the correct systems maintenance, to propose and implement new solutions
- Collaborate and contribute to projects and assigned project team, while driving some of them
- Communicate and cooperate with all different departments and suppliers for the projects’ implementation
What we expect from our candidates :
- University Degree - Mechanical engineering or similar
- Knowledge about WMS concepts
- Intellectual curiosity and an out-of-the-box approach – keep your eyes open and don’t dare to ask questions!
- Positive and proactive approach, empathy and resilience
- Critical thinking and analytic skills
- Problem solving attitude
- Ability to handle priorities and deadlines
- Logical mindset, persistent and team player
- Good knowledge about Office, particularly about Excel
- Proficiency in ERP / MRP is a plus
- Fluent in English and Italian, both verbal and written
