My Client is a large international EPCM who are working on a project in Libya. Due to expansion, the Client is searching a Telecoms Engineer for a 12 month renewable contract to be based in Milan in Italy where the Feed stage is being executed.
Qualifications
10+ years experience in a specific discipline
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years offshore experience
Experience in design, engineering and construction projects
Responsibilities
Review the Telecoms system
Review technical specifications
Review data sheets and drawings
Ensure drawings meet industry standards
Prepare Telecom Equipment material requisitions and technical bid evaluations
Prepare FATs
Supervise installation and commissioning
Troubleshoot
Support plant operations with telecom system upgrades and configuration changes
Maintain telecom documentation including network diagrams
Be familiar with PAGA, CCTV, IP networking, fibre optics and structured cabling
