Senior Software Engineer / Developer (Scala) Milan / WFH

Senior Software Engineer opportunity in a growing digital Wealth Management scale-up offering investment services via an advanced technology platform making smart investing easier and accessible to all.

Responsibilities

Join a cross‑functional Agile development team to design and develop new features on the platform, improve scalability, own parts of the architecture, contribute to technical discussions and decision making, evaluate new technologies and approaches, and mentor junior team members.

Work From Home policy

Work from home most of the time but must be able to get to the office in Milan twice a week for team meetings.

About you

• Strong backend software development experience including commercial Scala development; Java or Kotlin background acceptable.
• Experience within a financial services type environment with a good understanding of finance markets.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Technologist who loves to learn and pick up new skills.
• Good analysis and problem solving skills.
• Good English language skills; Italian a benefit but not necessary.
