Environment Overview

The Operational S&OP Coordinator (Demand Focus) acts as the key interface between GTM, Marketing, and Operations, consolidating short-to-long term demand forecasts and ensuring alignment throughout the S&OP cycle. This role ensures that market needs are accurately captured and translated into actionable demand plans, connecting bottom-up market inputs with top-down strategic guidance and enabling synchronization of supply, demand, and financial objectives. It plays a critical role in improving forecast accuracy, agility, and visibility across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate demand forecasts from regional and market teams for inclusion in the S&OP process.
  • Validate forecast accuracy, identifying gaps and proposing corrective actions.
  • Balance bottom-up demand submissions with top-down volume or revenue targets from Finance.
  • Communicate updated demand signals to Demand & Distribution Planning.
  • Manage short-to-long term forecast adjustments (+12M horizon).
  • Collaborate with Industrial Planning to balance demand and capacity constraints.
  • Track NPI, promotions, and phase-outs in the demand plan.
  • Maintain S&OP dashboards and KPIs on forecast accuracy and bias.
  • Support continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives in planning.
  • Prepare presentations and executive summaries for S&OP review meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes.
  • Experience with ERP and planning tools.
  • Proficient in Excel and Business Intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, structured, and detail‑oriented approach.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally in an international context.
