Data Transportation Analyst, Reverse & Sustainable Transportation

We are looking for someone to lead data management and governance for reverse operations across Brazil's fulfillment centers, sorting centers, and delivery stations, as part of the Reverse & Sustainable Transportation team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain operational and strategic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for reverse logistics operations
  • Implement system improvements to enhance the efficiency of reverse operations
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the network
  • Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process optimization
  • Develop analytical reports and documentation to support business decisions

A day in the life

  • Create and monitor KPIs to measure reverse logistics performance, including return processing time, transportation costs, and SOP compliance execution
  • Analyze system data to identify and implement improvements that increase operational efficiency by reducing processing time and costs
  • Audit network compliance with reverse logistics SOPs and provide recommendations to operation managers
  • Generate daily performance reports for leadership teams to support strategic decision-making
  • Partner with IT teams to enhance data collection methods and reporting systems
  • Collaborate with peers to implement process improvements based on data analysis
  • Present weekly operational metrics to stakeholders

About the team

The Sustainable Transportation & Reverse Operations (STRO) team is a newly established division within Amazon's Transportation organization in Brazil. Our mission is to establish a reverse logistics operations program structure, grouping projects and initiatives that are dispersed within other teams while maintaining our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Advanced English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
