Alpinestars is looking for a Sales Manager to lead and grow the Cycling Division, focused on high performance MTB apparel and protective gear. International applicants are welcome and will receive full relocation support for a move to Italy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies for the MTB cycling segment, achieving revenue and market share targets.
- Manage and expand relationships with distributors, specialty bike dealers and key retail partners.
- Lead, coach and develop a small sales team, set targets, and ensure strong field execution.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback, providing insights for product and commercial decisions.
- Collaborate with product, marketing and brand teams on launches, assortments and seasonal initiatives.
- Manage forecasting, budgeting and reporting, ensuring accurate planning and performance tracking.
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of sales experience in cycling, outdoor or action sports, ideally in MTB apparel or protective gear.
- Strong network in the cycling retail and wholesale ecosystem.
- Proven track record of sales growth, key account management and negotiation.
- Experience leading or coordinating a small sales team.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset, confident with forecasts and KPIs.
- Fluent in English, willing to travel, and passionate about mountain biking.

Area Sales Manager – Middle East
A leading multinational company in the industrial sector is looking for an Area Sales Manager to oversee and grow its presence in the Middle East region. The role amplifies the effectiveness of the Salesmen job and Share of Wallet when calling on customers within the specific markets in the region within a distributor-based, indirect business model.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate sales activity within the assigned region through a distributor-based, indirect sales model.
- Manage and support a regional sales team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market needs.
- Achieve assigned targets on the back of AOP.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and provide regular reporting to senior management.
- Collaborate in defining the market strategy within a matrix organization, involving multiple internal stakeholders.
- Drive strategic account planning and manage negotiations at all levels.
- Maintain regular contact with key customers and distributors, planning structured and effective visits.
- Ensure sales representatives deliver optimal product and solution mixes, maximizing the company’s presence and offering per customer.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring cost control in line with objectives.
- Apply company guidelines for contract review and ensure appropriate delegation of authority is in place.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar Area Manager role.
- Proven track record in sales management within the MEA region.
- Proven track record in handling distributors, retailers, contractors.
- Fluency in English, Arabic and French (written and spoken) is required.
