Description
On behalf of an important entity operating in the space field, we are looking for a Ground Station Engineer.
Background
- University degree preferably in Aerospace/Space Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering
- Design and validation of satellite Ground Stations
Skills
- Experience designing and building RF communication systems
- Competence in IP networking concepts
- Working knowledge of Linux operating system
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems
- Integration and testing of hardware systems
- Experience with RF, electrical, and networking test equipment (spectrum analyzers, vector analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Field support experience
- Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory
- High motivation, proactive working approach, and strong sense of responsibility
Tasks
- Review Ground Station documentation related to design, procurement, production, integration, and installation
- Participate in Ground Station acceptance phase
- Participate in Remote Ground Station acceptance phase
- Understand Ground Station design, including software aspects
- Understand Remote Ground Station services
- Support the Ground Station AIV team during integration activities
