Saras is looking for a high potential who wants to develop his / her own career through a challenging path in the Commercial area in one of the leading oil refining companies in Europe, fully integrated in the Vitol group, a world leader in the energy sector.
The position of Biofuels Commercial is responsible for commodity origination, marketing and execution within the biofuel book and for an assigned group of customers; it also executes hedging orders and position management.
The position is currently focused on Biofuel, VegOils and HVO commercial optimization, to ensure that sales are fully aligned with commercial strategies and objectives, working in close coordination with the teams in Milan, Rome, London and Sarroch (Cagliari).
The person will be in charge of purchase and sale of biofuels and other petroleum products for the refining and wholesale system. He / She will develop new business opportunities, through a network of international and domestic clients, negotiate sales terms, and ensure that all risk-related aspects are covered in all transactions. The role works in close connection with the oil product scheduling, credit and risk management, middle office teams regarding planning activities and subsequent data entry.
