Position Overview

The Business Development and Intelligence Manager, Partner Territories and Travel Retail is responsible for helping the organization to obtain better brand recognition and financial growth, supporting scouting and activation of new Stores, new Corners and new Wholesale opportunities in Middle East, Africa India, CIS and cross Travel Retail EMEA. He/She is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of business data to help drive strategic decisions within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, business operations, and strategic planning, with the ability to deliver smart Strategic Business presentations to senior leadership to support business growth and optimization.

Business Development, support

  • Coordinate, analyze and discuss 5Y business development plan with regional key accounts, defining together with them strategic commercial directions and highlight risks, opportunities, process bottle neck, elements to be unlock and enablers to be activated for reciprocal business success
  • Scout and evaluate new business opportunities in the territories; develop presentations for new business materials (GSC decks and RL/Partner profitability overview)
  • Be involved in the set-up of proposals/agreement for new potential partnerships and create/nurture business opportunities
  • Be actively involved in projects & capex list monitor and update, discussing regularly with key accounts to properly track amortization plan and forecast

Market Research, Trends Analysis and Strategic Planning support

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer behaviors, and potential risks; conduct SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and competitive analysis to help guide decision-making, with a regional focus
  • Deliver high quality strategic business presentation and market snapshots
  • Analyze regional brand positioning and collaborate cross department to ensure correct pricing structure pre and post market
  • Support Management in developing long-term forecasting models and scenario planning to support business strategy
  • Stay up to date with the latest BI tools, industry best practices, and market conditions to drive continuous improvement in BI capabilities
  • work closely with Analytics team on reports and dashboards using data visualization tools (i.e. Power BI).

Business Process improvements

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that business strategies align with operational capabilities and market realities.
  • Identify inefficiencies or areas for optimization within business processes and recommend data-driven improvements.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Strategy, Data Analysis, or a similar role. Experience in consultancy is a plus.
  • Strong experience with BI tools (i.e. Power BI) and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of business operations, KPIs, and key business metrics.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English
