We are looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 System Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Microsoft 365 ecosystem — the backbone of our custom digital platforms. You’ll be part of PNO Digital, our central IT team supporting innovation delivery across Europe. The role is based in Rome with a hybrid work model and offers a gross annual salary of approximately €50,000.

Your Mission

As our Microsoft 365 expert, you'll shape secure, scalable, and efficient solutions. You’ll collaborate with an international team, drive key projects, and help elevate the digital capabilities of our organization.

Your Tasks

• Design and manage Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive
• Administer Entra ID: Identity management, MFA, conditional access, Zero Trust
• Implement security & compliance: DLP, Purview, threat protection, continuous monitoring
• Automate tasks with PowerShell and Power Automate
• Troubleshoot complex issues and serve as escalation point
• Lead migration/modernization projects (cloud, hybrid, legacy transitions)
• Integrate Microsoft 365 with third-party systems via Graph API and other tools
• Define and enforce governance policies: access, licensing, information protection

Your Profile

• 5–10 years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID, security policies, and compliance tools
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and workflow automation
• Proven success in migration and modernization projects
• Understanding of virtual server infrastructure and ITSM tools
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in international IT teams
• Fluent in English; Italian and/or Dutch are a plus
