Context : IKOS is seeking

with a

deep knowledge

ETCS L2 (European Train Control System Level 2) enthusiast to take part in an important mission in Portugal and be part of an amazing team of railway passionate professionals. If you are a Senior Railway Signaling specialist, we are looking for you in one of the most welcoming and sunniest places in Europe! Your presence is required in the country, but with many opportunities to travel and return to Italy from time to time.

Responsibilities : Lead the

design, development, and implementation

of signaling solutions. Provide

technical expertise

in signaling systems engineering, ensuring compliance with ERTMS standards. Work on

system architecture, integration, and validation

of railway signaling systems. Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards. Perform

requirement analysis, system specification, and safety assessments

for ETCS L2 projects. Support

aspects of signaling systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration.

We'd love you to apply if :

You possess a

BSc. or MSc. Degree

in Electrical

and/or

Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field (mandatory). Proven experience in Railway Signaling engineering. Proven experience in ERTMS (ETCS L2). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. English speaking is mandatory. Native Portuguese or Portuguese speaker is a big plus!
