As a Buyer at Natus Medical, you will work directly with our global suppliers and Italian contract manufacturers to meet customer demand and inventory requirements. Your decision-making and problem-solving skills will be essential to our success.

Daily Responsibilities

1. Use our material planning system to place purchase orders with vendors.
2. Monitor vendor delivery schedules and manage overdue orders.
3. Ensure accuracy of all open Purchase Orders and Intercompany Orders, including delivery dates.
4. Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with suppliers.
5. Collaborate with strategic sourcing to renegotiate prices and contracts or re-source locally to optimize quality and costs.
6. Coordinate with Manufacturing and Customer Services to meet customer demands, adjusting plans as needed due to market changes, material availability, or breakdowns.
7. Support teams in resolving issues with warehouse, inspection, trade compliance, and finance.
8. Travel within Europe may be required.

Skills and Experience Needed

1. 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a multinational Medical Device or Pharmaceutical company.
2. Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle/EBS is advantageous.
3. Third-level certification in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
4. IIPMM or APICS certification preferred.
5. Knowledge of regulatory standards such as QSR, ISO13485, and MDD.
6. Mature judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
7. Fluent in Italian and English.
