About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Automation Software Engineer based in Naples, Italy, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role involves a wide range of tasks from administrative duties to strategic development.

Our Naples Office

Located in San Giovanni a Teduccio, our Naples team comprises approximately 700 engineers working on signaling technologies, safety analysis, testing, and research. We serve clients like Ferrovie Italiane and RFI, delivering innovative products globally.

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements throughout the software lifecycle.
• Design and implement solutions, including modules, documentation, and tools.
• Create clear documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and code comments.
• Ensure proper operation of software on applicable platforms.
• Support functional units like RAMS, verification, testing, and commissioning.
• Apply best practices and common methodologies in software development.

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Automation Engineering.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years in web application development (front-end and back-end).

Skills

• Creative, flexible, self-motivated, quick learner.
• Strong time and quality management.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and testing skills.
• Team player in an international environment.

Technical Knowledge

• Experience with UI/UX design, Angular, Spring Boot, Node.js, Java, Python, C#/.NET.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, Linux.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and continuous integration.
