RINA is currently recruiting for a Combustion Station Junior Test Engineer to join its office in Dalmine within the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Division.

Mission

RINA is seeking a dedicated and motivated technical resource to join the Combustion Studies Station in Dalmine, Italy. This role offers the opportunity to work closely within a collaborative team focused on advancing combustion technology. You will contribute to research and innovation under the guidance of the Operating Unit responsible.

Key Accountabilities

The main responsibilities include designing and setting up experimental test rigs for burner qualification and conducting testing campaigns. During trials, you will monitor processes and collect data to validate results.

Key responsibilities include :

• Designing, building, and maintaining experimental setups for evaluating burner performance.
• Preparing test rigs and executing experiments with precision.
• Working effectively with team members and communicating clearly.
• Collecting and managing test data.
• Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.

Your proactive attitude and problem-solving skills will be critical to the success of our combustion research.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Energy Engineering, or a High School Diploma / GED in Mechanical Studies.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications :

• Degree in Chemical or Energy Engineering, or relevant Mechanical Studies with a high school diploma / GED.
• Experience in burner testing or similar labs.
• Knowledge of gas line installation and safety.
• Certification for forklift and crane operation.
• Proficiency with LabView and Eurotherm PLC.
• Skills in Microsoft Office.
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge.
