Azure Platform Engineer

At We Are META, located in Portugal, we are seeking an Azure Platform Engineer. This position is available for both permanent and contractor roles, with a full remote policy. The job expires on October 14, 2025.

Main requirements

Ideal candidates should possess:

• At least 8 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, with proven expertise in Azure;
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, cloud-native development, and deployment methodologies;
• Extensive knowledge of Azure services, architecture, AKS, networking, storage, and Kubernetes deployment;
• Experience with cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, cluster administration, and security;
• Familiarity with open-source tools like FluxCD, Kong, and Linkerd, and their integration with Azure;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, GitHub Actions, and Azure Resource Manager;
• Knowledge of SDLC, secure CI/CD practices, Agile methodologies, IaC, and Terraform;
• Understanding of UX and DevX concepts for cloud-based tools;
• Strong security knowledge, including zero-trust principles;
• Fluency in English (B2/C1);
• Availability to work remotely from Portugal.
