To support this priority, Amazon is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior TOM Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for partnering with the network operations team to execute company WHS policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local, regional and federal regulations. By leveraging lean principles and kaizens, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for Amazon’s Associates.
You will be required to build trust and confidence with cross functional TOM operation teams, and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis. You must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. You will also be required to instruct and train TOM operations leadership while assisting the TOM operational teams in incorporating our safety standards at their sites. Your experience in safety programs and your relevant safety, environmental and ergonomic knowledge in an operations environment will be crucial.
You will be responsible for developing a team of TOM Safety Leads and TOM operations within your designated network. Your team’s success will depend on your ability to create and execute leadership development plans for your larger team. You must demonstrate your ability to clearly communicate organizational direction through your team and give frequent and appropriate feedback to TOM operation teams while ensuring they are executing to the core competencies of an Amazon WHS professional. As a senior leader in the TOM WHS organization, you will also be responsible for judging and assessing safety talent to select appropriate bench strength for current and future business needs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
