System Engineer for Model-Based Development IDE

Randstad Italia SpA Inhouse is seeking a System Engineer for Model-Based Development IDE on behalf of Huawei Technologies Italia Srl, a global leader in telecommunications, enterprise solutions, and consumer electronics. Huawei is a pioneer in the industry, committed to shaping the future of digital ecosystems through cloud computing, AI, and next-generation connectivity solutions.

Huawei's Pisa Research Center plays a central role within the Group, focusing on researching new technologies and applications in the field of digital power and electric vehicles.

The Position: System Engineer for Model-Based Development IDE

We are looking for an expert to expand the team dedicated to developing next-generation Model-Based Design (MBD) tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the development of proprietary Model-Based Design tools, including optimization, simulation, integration with Artificial Intelligence (AI), education.
  • Design and develop tools for simulation, code generation, and optimization for the Center's areas of expertise.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic and highly collaborative team of experts, PhDs, passionate about research projects and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • M.Sc in Engineering (PhD preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in object-oriented programming.
  • Python (good level).
  • Experience and expertise in Model-Driven Engineering (MDE), including model-to-text, text-to-model, or model-to-model transformations.
  • Experience in building efficient AI infrastructures and improving the efficiency of AI models.
  • Experience with AI frameworks (e.g., Tensorflow, CUDA, Pytorch, Mindspore), Large-Language Models (LLM), and integrating AI technologies into products.
  • Experience in defining and executing unit tests and test automation scripts.
  • Good autonomy and initiative; flexibility to work in a multicultural environment.
