Job Purpose

MSC Cruises, the world’s third-largest cruise brand and leader in various regions, with a modern fleet of 22 ships and upcoming launches, is seeking an IT Product Owner for our Naples office, our primary service delivery hub.

The Product Owner will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, focusing on project delivery strategy, planning, execution, quality, and time-to-market within transformation programs, especially in Data and AI solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions with Business Analysts.
• Manage analytics project delivery, ensuring adherence to budgets, scope, quality, and risks.
• Ensure project work meets contractual service levels and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross-team efforts, acting as the main contact for projects.
• Provide feedback during project steering and operational meetings.
• Maintain standards for development tools, methodologies, and controls.
• Communicate with line managers regarding resources and monitor team performance.
• Lead and coordinate solution implementation with third-party vendors.
• Analyze and troubleshoot delivery issues with distributed teams.
• Manage communication with stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
• Develop change and release documentation for deployment processes.
• Research new technologies and practices to improve data quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years of experience in BI and Analytics.
• Experience delivering end-to-end Data Analytics solutions across various technologies.
• Proficiency with MS SQL and Azure; Oracle is a plus.
• Ability to assess and mitigate risks.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Leadership and relationship management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• Knowledge of Revenue and Yield Management is a plus.
