Where we need you

• As a Specialist IT Security
• You will be part of the Security Operation Center (SOC) Team, reporting to the Manager IT Security Global. In this global position, impacting all the Automotive Division, you will have the opportunity to lead all the main initiatives related to IT Security, both from the technical and organizational aspects.

Main responsibilities

• Assess the current situation, evaluate trends, and anticipate security requirements.
• Safeguard information system assets.
• Implement security improvements.
• Protect systems by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources when required.
• Determine security violations and inefficiencies through periodic audits.
• Collaborate with Global and Regional Infrastructure teams to upgrade network and infrastructure systems.
• Implement and maintain security controls.
• Identify and resolve major security issues.
• Serve as an escalation point for IT Operations, Global Infrastructure, and Business departments regarding IT Security issues.
• Keep management informed by preparing performance reports and communicating system status.
• Maintain quality service following organizational standards.
• Attend educational workshops to maintain technical knowledge.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with key-users to coach, monitor, and support IT Operations in security tasks.

How to convince us

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferred), Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems administration, design, managing/troubleshooting VoIP networks, and support of routers and switches in a large global environment.
• Extensive experience in enterprise data centers or multi-site environments with large remote offices.
• Ability to adopt a consultative/partner approach with clients and work independently on challenging assignments.
• Proven project management skills in a global, multi-site organization.
• Excellent command of English.
• Cisco, HP, Palo Alto, and ITIL certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to travel.

Well-developed interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, efficient workload planning, prioritization skills, and team collaboration are essential.
