Job Description:

IQVIA is looking for a Therapy Training Specialist, a role where your expertise supports patients with diabetes who self-administer insulin multiple times per day.

This is a new position within a growing team created to meet the increased demand for a medical device system that simplifies diabetes management for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

We seek candidates passionate about healthcare and patient wellbeing; the ideal applicant will have clear communication skills, strong public speaking abilities, spontaneous empathy, rapport-building skills, and an adaptable approach to training patients.

Working area:

Responsibilities:

• Work with hospital accounts in your territory
• Coordinate with the sales team to identify patient training needs
• Provide 1:1 training to patients on device setup and use, including obtaining consents
• Offer ongoing support to patients beyond technical assistance
• Participate in follow-up meetings with patients and healthcare providers
• Promote technical training and awareness among diabetes teams
• Assist in the prescription process and inventory management
• Organize educational activities and support during scientific events

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Degree in scientific, economic, or humanities disciplines, or equivalent experience in technical-commercial activities
• PhD is a plus but not required
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the area and nationwide
• English language skills are beneficial but not mandatory
• Knowledge of medical devices and therapies is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus
