As System Safety, Reliability and Maintainability Engineer:
you will ensure that the INS products are developed, designed, produced and supported according to the state-of-art and applicable safety standards associated with airworthiness regulations;
you will be responsible for analysing candidate designs products developed in terms of verification and satisfaction of reliability and maintainability objectives.
Duties
• Organize, perform activities and produce documentation for the "Safety Assessment" of inertial systems for civil and military aircraft according to ARP4761 (FHA, PSSA, SSA, Fault Trees, Quantitative and Qualitative Assessments) and to MIL-STD-882E
• Support the system design team to ensure compliance with safety objectives
• Specify and support the validation and verification activities of system requirements, according to ARP4754A
• Perform and manage the Safety Assessment on safety-related derived requirements defined during the development life cycle
• Be the responsible point-of-contact for the coordination and management of safety activities with external suppliers, including document review and acceptance
• Generate, manage and verify Reliability documentation (FMES, FMEA, FMECA)
• Generate, manage and verify Maintainability documentation
