FF&E Designer / Coordinator (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) – Latin America

To continue this mission, we are seeking a talented FF&E specialist based in Latin America to join one of our client’s team.

About the Role : FF&E Designer / Coordinator

This is a critical position that bridges the gap between concept and completion. You will be the expert responsible for the full life cycle of all Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) within our client’s projects.

Your mission : to select, source, budget, and document all movable items — from furniture, lighting, and fabrics to artwork and accessories — ensuring every element aligns with the project’s design concept, functional needs, and budget, while being perfectly specified for procurement and installation.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Design & Selection : Collaborate with design teams to select furniture, lighting, finishes, and materials that align with each project’s aesthetic and functional goals.
  • Sourcing & Procurement : Identify and build relationships with quality suppliers and manufacturers— we are looking for FF&E designers to work in the US market, with proven experience.
  • Budget Management : Develop, manage, and track detailed FF&E budgets to ensure financial accuracy and quality delivery.
  • Specification & Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive FF&E schedules, drawings, and specification documents for purchasing and installation.
  • Coordination : Serve as the main point of contact for all FF&E-related matters, coordinating between designers, project managers, purchasing agents, and installers.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

  • 2+ years of proven professional experience in FF&E is required. Please include 50 words about your FF&E background and experience — this is a must for your application to be considered.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing FF&E selection, specification, and project execution.
  • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of furniture, materials, and lighting suppliers , with proven experience in the US & Canada market.
  • Proven experience with budgeting, procurement, and supplier management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Spexx, or similar specification platforms.
  • Language : Full professional working proficiency in English .
