About the role

We are seeking a junior mechanical engineer to join our Engineering department, supporting the Cellpack projects team. The successful candidate will work alongside Senior Mechanical Designers, managing projects from concept to completion, to develop full autonomy.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will :

• Design mechanical components as well as small machine groups;
• Modify already existing machine groups, design mechanical parts;
• Draft relevant technical documentation;
• Support the assembly department for ongoing modifications;
• Strong collaboration with the Electronics Department;
• Design review;

The position is based in Bologna (Italy).

What you need to be successful

To be successful in the role, you must have a strong and keen interest in designing activities and an innate aptitude for working with customers and colleagues. You are a team player.

You also :

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related.
• Previous experience of at least 2 years of experience;
• Know parametric designing tools. Understanding of Creo Modelling and CAD Tools will be considered a plus;
• You are willing to learn SAP and Oracle. If you already have, it will be considered a plus;
• You feel at ease speaking, reading, and writing in English;
• You are thrilled about potential business trips (15-20%);
• You are handy, flexible, and curious.
