Our client, a leading international import / export company in the food sector, has commissioned us to search for a :

Logistics Clerk with ENGLISH - Import Export - Food Sector

Working hours

Working hours: full-time (Monday to Friday + 2 Saturdays per month) + on-call availability. required.

Workplace

Workplace: San Martino Buon Albergo (VR).

Responsibilities

The Logistics Clerk, reporting to the Commercial Manager and interfacing with central warehouses and customers, will be responsible for:

  • Defining the most efficient and economical routes for vehicles (from Northern Europe to Italy).
  • Organizing and planning trips (from Northern Europe to Italy).
  • Composing truck loads.
  • Managing and entering orders.
  • Dealing with customers and suppliers.
  • Constant collaboration with the internal sales area.
  • Managing documentation (including customs clearance).
  • Monitoring the entire shipping lifecycle, from collection to delivery of goods.
  • Managing emergencies, delays, and problems that occur during transport.

Qualifications

  • Fluent knowledge of the English language.
  • Previous experience in the role within companies in the food sector.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility.
  • Knowledge of Spanish as a second language is a preferential qualification.
