ELECTRONICS DESIGN ENGINEER

The position is within the Technology Team based in Ghedi (Brescia), developing electronic defense equipment and systems. You will work closely with engineers from various disciplines with diverse skills and experience. The role offers the engineer the freedom and responsibility to take ownership of current and future design projects. You will participate in decision-making from the beginning of the design process, and your input will be crucial to the success of future developments.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Electronics design from schematic capture, PCB layout, to test planning and implementation;
2. Operate testing processes for electronic boards;
3. Embedded development for microcontrollers/microprocessors (8-16-32 bit microcontrollers) in sensor systems such as PIC Microchip, STM32;
4. Develop embedded C or C-derived language for microcontrollers;
5. Continuously improve RWM design methodology and development processes;
6. Ensure compliance with the company's HSE policy and actively promote safety within the work environment.

What You Need to Bring:

• Familiarity with laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, frequency meters, etc.);
• Minimum: 2.1 Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar +2 years of experience in a design engineering role;
• Proficiency in Altium Designer and IAR design tools;
• Comprehensive knowledge of the full design lifecycle, including specification design, testing, and documentation;
• Structured test implementation skills;
• Excellent component-level fault finding skills;
• Motivated, quality-focused engineer with excellent teamwork skills;
• Good English communication skills, both oral and written.
